We Are: CEDE is a growing NGO based in Abuja, Nigeria, working at the intersection of humanitarian assistance and digital transformation. We empower individuals and communities through innovative interventions in education, healthcare, and technology.
Role Overview: We’re looking for a creative, tech-savvy, and proactive Digital Media & Marketing Officer to join our communications team — someone passionate about storytelling through digital platforms, with strong content creation and editing skills, comfortable both behind the camera and on the web.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of CEDE’s activities, fieldwork, and events
- Produce engaging content (short videos, reels, infographics, web banners) for social and web
- Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Maintain and update CEDE’s website with fresh content, blogs, and project highlights
- Support digital campaigns for key initiatives and events, including real-time event coverage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Production, or a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, content creation, or media production
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) and social media management tools
- Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML/CSS is a plus
- NGO or development-sector experience is an advantage

Position Overview: We’re seeking a Program/Project Manager to lead and manage our humanitarian projects, integrating digital tools to enhance impact. Ideal candidates have project management experience, particularly in the NGO sector and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee humanitarian projects, integrating digital solutions
- Manage teams, resources, and timelines to ensure project success
- Develop frameworks to monitor and evaluate project outcomes using digital tools
- Build relationships with donors, government bodies, and communities
- Train staff and communities on digital tools and innovation
- Ensure compliance with laws and donor requirements, and provide regular reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, International Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- At least 5 years in project management, including 2 years in digital transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in project management software and data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively

Job Summary: The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing CEDE’s financial systems, ensuring compliance with financial policies, donor requirements, and statutory regulations. The role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, and the ability to support program implementation through sound financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, receipts, and supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage budgets and track expenditures across projects and programs
- Ensure compliance with donor funding requirements and financial guidelines
- Support the development of project budgets and budget justifications
- Monitor cash flow and manage organizational bank accounts
- Process payments, payroll, and financial transactions in a timely manner
- Prepare for audits and ensure proper documentation for audit processes
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2–4 years relevant work experience in finance or accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial management systems and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Added Advantage:
- Prior work experience with a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) or development sector organization
- Experience managing donor-funded projects and reporting requirements

Job Summary: The Programs Officer – Fundraising & Communications will lead CEDE’s resource mobilization efforts while managing strategic communications to enhance visibility, donor engagement, and program impact. This role is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals and reports, and producing communication materials that showcase impact to donors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies targeting grants, donors, and partners
- Identify funding opportunities and lead proposal writing, concept notes, and grant applications
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop compelling content for reports, campaigns, newsletters, and digital platforms
- Manage CEDE’s communication channels (website, social media, media relations)
- Support documentation of program impact (stories, reports, visual content)
- Coordinate advocacy and fundraising campaigns aligned with CEDE’s mission
- Track fundraising performance and maintain donor databases
- Collaborate with program and finance teams for proposal development and reporting
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Development Studies, Public Relations, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in fundraising, communications, or development work
- Proven experience in grant writing and securing funding
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills
- Proficiency in digital communications and social media management
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
Added Advantage:
- Prior experience working with a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) or development sector
- Experience with donor reporting and international funding agencies
